Introducing Prodigy® by Marshall & Ogletree
It's the organ you've waited for!
In the late 1990's, Doug Marshall and David Ogletree decided to create an organ MIDI module to expand the tonal palette of the digital organs of the day. But we quickly realized that, in that context, the sounds we were creating were like opera stars in a community chorus. They needed - and deserved - a venue of their own.
By the next year we had built a playable 50-stop "proof of concept" organ. On the basis of its excellence and potential, Dr. Owen Burdick, Organist and Choirmaster of Trinity Wall Street in New York City, recommended twin Marshall & Ogletree organs for Trinity after their pipe organ had been silenced by the 9/11 tragedy.
Since that time, after building several Marshall & Ogletree Opus organs, making M&O Consort additions to pipe organs, and other projects, M&O has become known for uncompromising and expensive custom work.
We are often asked, "Will you ever build an M&O organ for less?" Our answer is Prodigy.
Prodigy is 100% M&O with all the quality, features and attention to detail that we are known for. Prodigy is a model with a rich array of options and console designs. The efficiency of standardization and the ability to build Prodigy organs efficiently in small batches enables us to pass significant savings on to you.
